Soooo, I watched Mushi-shi over the weekend.
It's altogether creepy, touching, and inspiring, and daresay, I've fallen in love with it.

If you haven't seen it, GO WATCH IT NOW. GO. NOW.

So many episodes are worthy of fan art, but this moment in particular is one of my favorites. It's just... so tragic and yet so awe-inspiring at the same time, as soon as I saw it I dropped everything and got to scribbling away on my tablet.



_{Also, I feel the need to mention that scales are now officially the WORST thing to render in photoshop. ever.
Also: when you feel the need to take a break from drawing scales, it's a bad idea to start drawing another picture... involving scales. wth was I thinking.
Also: I've never drawn a fish before, much less a giant, ghostly, glowing fish. Holy crud was this hard.}
